ALISON ROSSI

I am an educator at heart; make no mistake about it. From the moment that I stepped foot inside of a classroom full of students, my favorite moments were when I saw lightbulbs go off. I never thought that I would go into sales and project management, but what I have found is that the core traits of a
great business leader are no different than those of a teacher. My role is to educate my employees, customers, and resources to give them the same lightbulb moments that my students experienced on a day to day basis.

THE TIP OF THE SPEAR. As a Named Account Executive, I am the face of the
NWN brand. I am responsible for maintaining some of NWN’s largest and most strategic accounts along with building the overall footprint within New England. Day to day responsibilities include managing both internal and external communications with clients to ensure their success, building marketing plans, solving unique challenges, negotiating contracts, and helping business transform using technology. Account management tasks required advanced analytics and data driven decision making tools.

EVERYONE SAID IT COULDN’T BE DONE. As an assigned Strategic Project
Manager, I worked on site with an assigned strategic client to convert 200
buildings (15,000 handsets) from a legacy PBX to NWN's hosted collaboration
platform over the course of 10 months. In this role, I managed a team of 40 to
initiate, plan, execute, and eventually support the new system and devices.
Responsibilities included: managing project budget, risks, timeline, and executive sponsors. Managing team morale was the most challenging aspect of this project given the pressure and time contraints.

  • Project Timeline: Completed 1 week ahead of schedule.

  • Project Budget: Within 5% of planned budget

  • Developed project communications platform via Sharepoint.

  • Project statistics dashboard using PowerBI

Strategic Project Manager

2017-2018

THEY SAID SHE COULDN’T - SO SHE DID. No one thought that I could do
it, so I started my own consulting company. The vision was simple. Stop
managing projects, instead manage outcomes and adoption. In this role, I
managed everything associated with the business, from marketing to
invoicing, inclusive of proposal delivery and execution. We landed a long
term contract with Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) in CT and
delivered. The systems, training, and architecture are still thriving today.
• Developed a new line of business for NWCTPS. $24M
in dispatch services. Successful public sector negotiation.
• Developed full 911 operator cross domain curriculum.

2016-2017

ALWAYS ABOVE THE LINE. My core objective at Atrion Networking
is to build and expand relationships within individual schools and
districts in order to assist them in using technology to implement
positive changes for students, educators, parents, and school
leaders. Developed customer dashboard for renewals and contracts
to ensure positive business outcomes.

VOLUNTEER WORK

CT Diamond Club 2015-CURRENT

THE ULTIMATE HOBBY AND PASSION PROJECT. In addition to my full time job, I combined my passion for business and softball to start the CT Diamond Club out of East Hartford, CT. We serve 120 student athletes within Connecticut and develop long term relationships with their families. Recently, we developed, implemented, and executed a curriculum for student athletes ages 8-18 inclusive of both softball and personal development. With a National Championship under our belts, we have developed a positive reputation both on and off the field.
